Texas Monthly magazine recently selected Heygood, Orr & Pearson name partners Michael Heygood, Jim Orr and Eric D. Pearson as 2011 “Texas Super Lawyers.” In compiling their list of outstanding attorneys, Texas Monthly magazine use a rigorous multi-step process combining peer nominations and evaluations with third party research. Each candidate is evaluated on 12 separate indicators of peer recognition and professional achievement, and selections are made on an annual, state-by-state basis. This marks the eighth straight year that one or more of the firm’s name partners has been selected as a Texas Super Lawyer.
